Patri Bayer, founder of "SWANGK! Exquisite Fine Chocolates", started exploring and making chocolate confections in 2007. Patri was inspired by the beauty of the tropical outdoors of Hawaii, where she lived for over 30 years before landing in the Twin Cities. Hues of ochre, reds, yellows, greens of ripe mango, the ruby reds and white of a pomegranate, blues, purples, teals of the iris all give her inspiration when painting the truffles and bon-bons.
Attention to detail and only using the freshest ingredients to create flavors has crowned Patri as being somewhat of a chocolate snob, yet her motto is, "only the best will do!" This includes the fine chocolate used to enrobe the hand-painted truffles and chocolate confection giving the chocolates that "swangk" look that will be remembered. MADE FROM THE HIGHEST QUALITY INGREDIENTS
Our confections are molded on equipment also used with almonds and or nuts, milk and cream. Not suitable for people with nut or milk allergies.
Ingredients used include: Hawaiian grown cocoa beans, Pure Cane sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla, vanilla beans, sunflower lecithin, soy lecithin, full cream, milk, whole milk powder, extracts, fruit purees, mint , hibiscus, cranberry, rose, manuka dehydrated honey, passion fruit, lychee, dehydrated strawberry, strawberry puree, dehydrated raspberry, raspberry puree, colored cocoa butters, orange zest, lemon zest, lime zest, ginger, Dashfire Bitters, distilled spirits including gin, vodka, brandy, cognac, bourbon, whisky, scotch, champagne, wine, beer. Seasonal ingredients include pumpkin, cinnamon, cardamom, anise, pear, almond, walnuts, macadamia nuts, pistachio, pine nuts, pecans and more.
